RESTRICTIONS AND REHABILITATION
STAGE 0
At Stage 0 a participant has no restrictions and has access to the full features of their cuffs and the accommodation.

They are unlikely to experience the safety features.
Starting point: Civilians and Military
STAGE 5
At Stage 5 a participant poses a SEVERE risk to other participants and cannot live within the facility.

Prisoners at this Tier are removed from the general populace and placed in confinement where they will be given one last chance to redeem themselves. Should this fail other measures are taken.
Harming others within the facility may result in this.
The Syndicate believes in second chances, and given the humble beginnings of the S-Gene experiments and the kind donation of those within our criminal system, The Syndicate has continued to offer those who are viable the chance of freedom within our facility...given they are compatible with the gene of course.
CUFFS

CUFFS, are the fashionable multipurpose device gifted to every participant within The Syndicate. Their main focus is to allow participants access to several locations, monitor their wellbeing, and allow for communication. Both cuffs fit comfortably around both wrists allowing for users to utilize the holographic panel on either hand. An incredibly useful feature!
The Communication section gives users access to the internet (Monitored of course), the SIM (Syndicate Instant Messenger), The Task center (In which users are given tasks specific to the development of their abilities), and other connectivity aspects. We are currently in the development of several apps that will further benefit our participant's lives.

The cuffs are colour changing and can be altered to suit our participants tastes or outfits with just the click of a button!
SAFETY FEATURES
In order to ensure the safety of our participants each cuff is outfitted with several features that allow MARGO or Syndicate employees to restrain or incapacitate participants at any given moment. Naturally, this is seen as a last resort and is not the preferred method of any of our employees. However, it is something that is used mainly via our REHABILITATION PROGRAM.
Rehabilitation has several stages and is meant to aid those such as our beloved Ex-Convicts with adjusting to life among others. However, these measures are not limited to this class of participants. Anyone can be placed on the Rehabilitation program at any given time, dependant on their behavior. The moto in regards to this is "Some Actions Require Correction"

One of the main features includes a method of controlling a participant's abilities should they ever use this in a way that could cause harm or damage. Rendering the ability null.

STAGE 1
At Stage 1 a participant has acted in a way unbefitting of the syndicate environment and restrictions have been put in place.

Surveillance is heightened. Participants may experience a sudden inability to enter an area dependant on their mood and actions. They are somewhat likely to experience safety features.
Starting point: Tier 1 Criminals
STAGE 2
At Stage 2 a participant has acted in a way that endangers either themselves or others and restrictions have been put in place.

They are only able to enter the bar or games room for five of seven days. Surveillance is heightened with weekly reports given. They are likely to experience the safety features.

Starting point: Tier 2 Criminals
STAGE 4
At Stage 4 a participant poses a significant risk to other participants and as such must be strictly monitored.

They are only unable to enter the bar, cinema or games room. They are assigned a 'handler' who will monitor and prevent violence. They are extremely likely to experience safety features, CUFFS are used as restraint to transport between areas.
Starting point: Tier 5 Criminals
STAGE 3
At Stage 3 a participant poses a risk to others in the project and as such measures have been put in place to manage behavior.

They are only able to enter the bar or games room on weekends, food and drink are regulated. Surveillance is heightened with weekly reports given. They are very likely to experience the safety features.

Starting point: Tier 3/4 Criminals
[Tier 1]
Tier 1 includes anything which could be considered an Infraction or Violation. Having a criminal record.
[Tier 2]
Tier 2 includes anything which would be considered a CLASS C Misdemeanor.
[Tier 3]
Tier 3 includes anything which would be considered a CLASS A or B Misdemeanor. Jail time has been served or completed.
[Tier 4]
Tier 4 includes anything which would be considered a CLASS E, D, or C Felony. Jail time has been served.
[Tier 5]
Tier 5 includes anything which would be considered a CLASS A or B Felony. Jail time has been served, the prisoner is HIGH RISK.

Rehabilitation utilizes these features via several stages.
However, as these prisoners have committed crimes that warranted their time in jail, The Syndicate has pioneered several measures to ensure our other participants are kept safe.

These include the 'CUFFS' system which all participants are fitted with on entry to the project. The CUFFS themselves are a multifunctional device which operates on a tier-based system for those from prison or criminal background.

The tier system operates based around the caliber of each crime, for example, Murder is of course of the highest tier, whereas minor crimes such as theft would see a lower tier. A participant may lower their tier through good behavior and the completion of tasks.

Everyone deserves a second class after all, but the CUFFS are there to ensure the safety of our more... civilized participants.
Safety features include:
-
Restraints (The cuffs lock together restraining the participant)
-
Shock (A shock is sent through the cuffs, incapacitating the participant)
-
Sedation (A sedative is injected via the cuff incapacitating the participant)
-
MAG LOCK (The participant becomes magnetized to the closest magnetic surface until Syndicate employees come to collect them)
-

Character Creation

When making your character you CAN have them have committed a Tier 5 crime but be on a lower stage but you must ensure that they have been within the program for long enough to have worked through the rehabilitation program. This should be specified on the App.

ALL CHARACTERS SHOULD BE WEARING CUFFS, they cannot be taken off at whim.
