S-GENE

The S-Gene (Sovereign Gene) was discovered upon the surrender of Patient X, while it did not initially appear to be the source of Patient X's ability, further testing revealed it to be the root of it all. Given that it was linked to a Genome, it was deduced that this may be an evolutionary trait. Something that was later confirmed through the discovery of the Receptor agent.

Through further experimentation and the use of inmates from death row, they were able to discover a way to push this evolution into an active state.
​
The S-Gene rarely materializes in the same way, the abilities gained have ranged from very limited in their effect to exceptional and in need of special equipment to monitor further.

THE BASIS
ACTIVATION
RECEPTOR
The receptor is a recessive particle which can be utilized in the creation of the S-GENE. It is exceptionally rare and must be tested for.
JOLT
The 'JOLT' is the name of the injection given to those with a receptor agent. The Jolt is essentially a refined sample of Patient X's blood.
S-GENE
Over the course of several days after being given JOLT, participants will go through the change, developing their abilities.
